Member Communication regarding Conversion
Beginning Friday, May 1, 2026 and through Sunday, May 3, 2026, CBW will be undergoing a core processing system upgrade. Our goal is to provide our members with the products needed to provide the best experience possible when it comes to meeting your financial needs.
After this upgrade, we will gradually introduce the following member enhancements throughout the year
- Ability to send and receive Person-to-Person payments
- Accessed via online banking or mobile app
- Send money to family and friends simply and securely
- Remotely depositing a check via your smart phone
- Funds available within two business days
- Ability to monitor and control your debit card via CardHub built into your existing CBW mobile app
- Real time alerts and monitoring on suspicious transactions
- Members can instantly lock/unlock lost or stolen cards
- Members can set custom controls based upon location, merchant type and transaction type to prevent unauthorized use
- New and improved online membership, loan application and share/certificate account opening via our website.
What will NOT change with this core processing system upgrade:
- Your existing account number(s) will not change but your account suffixes may change.
- CBW routing number will not change
- Online and Mobile Banking,
- Bill payment service, (you will not be able to add new bill payments during our system upgrade)
- Online statements, no need to re-enroll
- Debit card numbers and personal identification numbers will not change
- Checks, your current checks can still be used
- Any automatic transfers you have scheduled will continue to process normally
- If you have a loan with us, your payment dates will not change
- NCUA Coverage: Share deposits are still NCUA insured up to $250,000 per coverage category.
Key Dates to remember:
- Thursday, April 30, 2026 – CBW will operate normal business hours.
- Friday, May 1, 2026 – our offices will be closed as we convert to our new operating system. Our employees will be working hard to ensure we are ready for opening on Monday, May 4, 2026.
- In advance of our closing on May 1, all ACH transactions in the ACH warehouse will be posted on April 30.
- No account access, online/mobile transactions, or new bill pay setup will be available during this upgrade timeframe.
- Your debit card will work during our upgrade. However, there may be some intermittent service disruptions during this process
- You may want to have additional cash on hand before the system upgrade begins May 1, 2026 or have a check from your share draft account available to pay for purchases in the event that the card service is disrupted.
- Monday, May 4, 2026 – we will be open with normal business hours
