A scam was recently discovered and as a precaution, we would like to inform our membership. A member received the following text message, “The credit union center alert…Your card has been deactivated. Call ***-***-****.”
THIS IS NOT FROM C-B-W. When the number is called, the listener is asked to key in their 16 digit card number. DO NOT DO THIS! It’s a phishing scam trying to obtain your personal information.
